Kelly Liptrot has been shoeing horses since 2000 and has achieved the American Farriers Association (AFA) Certified Journeyman Farrier ~ The highest level of certification available through the AFA. He has traveled to many areas of the United States to attend shoeing clinics and competitions. He has also gone overseas on several occasions to further his education in this field.

Through the years, Kelly noticed that the area of Northern Utah, the place he calls home, has been lacking a store specializing in just farrier equipment and supplies. This motivated Kelly to open one of his own and stock it with premium products that any farrier at any stage of his business will find useful and reliable. Also noteworthy is that Kelly runs this business out of his home so his overhead is lower than most suppliers enabling to pass this savings on to his customers.

Kelly continues to be a practicing farrier so you, as a customer, can communicate with someone who can help answer questions or can offer personal recommendations if needed. Most of the products offered at Liptrot Farrier Supplies are priced lower than products you would find elsewhere, as Kelly wishes to help farriers realize a profitable and smooth running farrier practice with the top quality products they wish to use.

Kelly, himself, has always enjoyed a pain free shopping experience, so he has created a very simple ordering process for you. Just call, text, or email! Shipping is available usually the same day that your order is placed. Product on site pickup is also available for farriers in the area, or folks passing through.
